Welcome to Lake Hills
Lake Hills is a special community located near Lake Mohegan and anchored by Samp Mortar Reservoir. People love living in this neighborhood because of the easy access to the shops and stores on Black Rock Turnpike and its proximity to the Merritt Parkway, I-95, Lake Mohegan, and the surrounding neighborhood.
Stunning new construction homes blend with traditional, charming Cape Cods; in recent years, the neighborhood has been turning over a good deal, offering a homeowners with many choices. Lake Hills offers slightly larger property sizes when compared to the University and Stratfield neighborhoods.
Many homes are included in the Lake Hills Association and pay a monthly fee (some homes have the option of joining whereas others are required to join); that allows you access to 5 private beaches. The "lake life" offers tons of activities and events, which lends a hand in neighbors becoming friends, such as movie nights at the private beaches, family fun day, swim lessons, adult get-togethers, and so much more.
We are certain that the homeowners at Lake Hills will agree – Life is better at the Lake! A unique feature about this neighborhood is that many streets have Native American names. Ponuncamo – chief of the Sasqua – means “He paddles or rows a boat;” Creconoof – means “He goes among, mingles with them;” and Nepas – means “The Little Riser.”
